An outside guide to one card room

What this site is

Loot Brook is an independent guide to one place: The Fort Card Room, a members-only poker club at 8420 I-20 Frontage Rd, Aledo, TX 76008. We collect what the club publishes in different places (prices, game list, tournament week, house rules and membership agreement), put it in one plain format and point out where the club's own pages disagree.

What it is not

We are not the club, not part of it and not paid by it. We sell nothing, take no bookings and add no referral codes. For seats, memberships, lost property or disputes, contact the club: (817) 441-1045 or thefortcardroom.com.

How we check

Everything here was read on November 5, 2026 from the club's website, its rules PDF (dated January 31, 2025) and its membership agreement PDF. Texas law and news come from the statute and from reporting we link on the sources page. We did not visit the club, so we describe nothing we could not read.

Where the club's pages contradict each other (age 19 or 21, closing at 4 a.m. or when the game ends, a $1,500 or $2,000 Sunday guarantee) we print both and tell you which one to trust.

Pictures

The illustrations were drawn for Loot Brook as vector art. None of them shows the club's building, staff, members or logo; house rule 38 bans photos inside, and we would not use them if it didn't.
