Cash games · the list

Fifteen games on the list, from $1/2 to $30/60

The club's live feed names 15 cash games: hold'em, Omaha, rotations, limit mixes and Chinese poker. Most nights only a few run at once. Here is each game with its buy-in, and what the abbreviations on the list mean.

Chip stacks in columns, a pot of loose chips, two face-down cards and a straddle chip on green felt.

Glossary

What the list means

NLH
No Limit Texas Hold'em: two private cards, five shared cards, and you may bet everything in front of you at any time.
PLO
Pot Limit Omaha: four private cards, and you must use exactly two of them; a bet can be no bigger than the pot.
Congress / Big O
The club's FAQ calls it pot-limit five-card Omaha Hi-Lo: the pot is split between the best high and the best qualifying low hand. Its 5/5 game runs Tuesday and Thursday evenings from about 6 p.m., $400 minimum and no cap.
ROE
Round of each: the table switches game after every full orbit of the dealer button, for example one round of hold'em, then one of Omaha.
75% match
From the Game Info page: in 1-3 NLH and 2-5 and higher you may buy in for up to 75% of the biggest stack at the table, even above the posted maximum.
BP and 1BP
The list writes these in game names; the club does not define them. Its rules say members can ask for a bomb pot (everyone antes and the hand starts on the flop) on the hour and half hour, and anyone may opt out. Game Info adds two-board bomb pots.
Button straddle
A voluntary blind of at least twice the big blind, posted from the button, which then acts last before the flop. House rule 10 allows straddles from under the gun or the button in all blind games, never mandatory, and no button straddle in limit games.
7-game mix
A rotation of limit and no-limit games. On the $10/20 game the first seven players choose which games go into the mix.
Overs
In mixed games, overs usually means stakes go up when only the players who opted in are left in a hand. The club lists overs as optional and does not publish its own definition.
Chinese, $5 a point
Each player sets 13 cards into three hands and is paid $5 for each point won against each opponent; royalties are bonus points for very strong hands. The club spreads regular Chinese poker; house rule 71 says it will not spread open-face Chinese.
